Chamber announces Lilongwe office launch and Founding Membership

The Malawi–UK Chamber of Commerce will formally launch in Lilongwe on 22 October 2026. The formal launch brings together C-suite business leaders, investors, government representatives and institutional partners from Malawi and the United Kingdom. By invitation.

The launch marks the Chamber’s move from a London-based network with a Scotland Chapter to a genuinely bilateral organisation, with the UK office as parent office and the Malawi office as the in-country delivery base. It also opens Founding Membership — a time-limited category for organisations that join as the Malawi office is established.

Government, business and development partners will be invited to hear the Chamber’s programmes for trade promotion, investment facilitation, networking, advocacy and business development. Non-members may request an invitation through the Secretariat.
